Mary Queen of Scots 2018 Movie – Storyline :
This movie explores the turbulent life of the charismatic Mary Stuart (Saoirse Ronan). Queen of France at sixteen and widowed at eighteen, Mary defies pressure to remarry. Mary Queen of Scots Full Movie Review:
I love historical movies. I understand certain liberties will be taken with the facts to make the story more interesting. However, this was political correctness run amok. A mark of a great movie is getting swept up in the story, but that was impossible. I was constantly distracted by wondering why there were so many black and Asian characters in the Scottish and English courts, which was never the case. Furthermore, the acceptance of a transgendered male early in the story was laughable. Maybe Hollywood will just go back to making great movies period.
