The Grudge is a 2020 horror film written and directed by Nicolas Pesce, and produced by Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, and Taka Ichise. At first announced as a reboot of the 2004 American remake and the original 2002 Japanese horror film Ju-On: The Grudge, the film ended up being a sidequel that takes place before and during the events of the 2004 film and its two direct sequels, and is the fourth installment in the American The Grudge film series.

The Grudge 2020 Movie – Storyline :

After a young housewife murders her family in her own house, a single mother and young detective tries to investigate and solve the case. Later, she discovers the house is cursed by a vengeful ghost that dooms those who enter it with a violent death. Now, she runs to save herself and her son from demonic spirits from the cursed house in her neighborhood.

Review of The Grudge (2020 Horror Movie) :

The film’s direction is boring. It had some brief scary moments and tone. Majority of the movie is just flat out boring and dull. It has some cheap scares of things popping out on screen which was nothing new. This is another terrible reboot like 2017 Rings which was worse.

Overall, The Grudge was not good. The story is terrible. The script sucked at delivering characters. The direction lacked in scares and thrills. You will be on for one slow and boring horror ride.
